@sassynassyy, While getting the surgery done, you cannot really see much because the blade is so close on the eye. I only saw flashes while they did the surgery. You can’t see the black cutting or anything. The worst part of the surgery is when you go blind for about 2 seconds. It freaked me out, but if you stay calm it’s nothing. You can’t smell anything during the surgery either. It’s a quick and easy, painless 20 minute surgery. go for it…

this was really helpful, thankyou so much! i want to get it done, i have it kinda in the works with consultations and stuff but i get kinda squeamy with anything eyeball-related. so my question to you is, could you see anything as they were doing it? could you see the blade when they cut your eye and stuff? like..what parts of the surgery are bad that i shoud prepare for? any smells from the laser burning or anything?

thanks! by the way, this is a fantastic first video. :)

@CutiePie1018195, I am not a doctor so I can’t say what is good for you, but lasik is a good option for near sighted individuals in general in my opinion. I was very very nervous going into surgery, but it was easy after all. My navel piercing was honestly tougher… lol

  • CutiePie1018195:

I have 100/100 vision and I’m only 14,so I’m expecting them to get worse.I can’t see anything far away.

Do you think Lasik would be a good option for me in the future? And were you nervous going in for the surgery?

  • Borat2borat:

Yeah.. the end result of both surgeries is the same.

But Lasik scares me more because of the cutting. If nothing goes wrong.. then you’re gold.

  • jerseystylezz:

Borat2borat, recovery is fast in that you can see clear almost immediately, but there is a to of maintenance at first. Now I’m 11 months post operation and I don’t use drops at all or need sunglasses at all. It is worth it to me. :)

  • Borat2borat:

Wow drops 8 times a day for 3 months? Sunglasses outside at all times?

I thought Lasik was so popular because of the fast recovery. I got PRK done because I was too chicken to let them cut my eye.

    lol
