		<description>I am somewhat confused.  If your only problem is &quot;scratched corneas&quot; then when they heal they should remain healed.  I wonder if what you are referring to is actually a condition called recurrent corneal erosion.  This is a dysfunction of the corneal basement membrane which results in the corneal epithelium not bonding to the basement membrane.  This results in repeated erosion of the epithelium that tends to occur more often in the morning upon waking because the eye becomes dry and the lid adheres to the epithelium and basically rips it off when you open the eyes. 

If this is the problem, then there are effective curative treatments available.  One such treatment is anterior corneal stromal puncture.  Another is photo therapeutic keratectomy.</description>
