Should I have Laser Eye Surgery
Should I have Laser Eye Surgery? I went to have a consultation for laser eye surgery today. It was all going well unil I realised that I would be left needing reading glasses to see what I see very well at the moment. That didn’t seem like a very good trade off. Then the Optometrist suggested I have one eye done and keep the best short sight eye as it is. That seemed absurd! But she put a contact lens in one eye and sent me off to see how I felt. It was amazing! My brain adapted instantly, even though the lens wasn’t that good and was clouded up with green stain. I went to the Apple Store to see what it would be like with a computer and that was fine. Then I did a bit of sketching and that was fine too. They have proper lenses on order for me to try out for a week to see how I go and then, if all is well, I’ll have the surgery and won’t need glasses anymore – how amazing is that? She then put stuff in my eyes to dilate the pupils. When I came out I was really happy and the light was so bright and the everything was a bit twinkly, I think I got a little bit trippy on adrenaline, or something. Anyway, I’ve calmed down a bit now. get subscribed for the next episode

Curt’s lasik eye surgery
Here is a video of my laser eye surgery at TLC of Fargo, ND on Jan. 17, 2011. The surgery itself isn’t painful….there is only a little bit of pressure along with a burning sensation afterwards. It was well worth it though, now i can see with 20/15 vision!
